Brief History
In November 2006, co-founders Nick Geddes and Jim Brotton established Global Inkjet Systems (GIS) to offer inkjet printhead drive support via a comprehensive operating system, high performance RIP software, printhead drivers and electronics. In January 2022, GIS was acquired by Nano Dimension (NNDM), an industry leader in Additively Manufactured Electronics (AME), 3D printed electronics and Micro Additive Manufacturing.
Located in the heart of the Cambridge UK inkjet cluster, GIS today is a truly international organisation that now employs over 60 people, who each use their unique talents and knowledge to contribute to the company’s ongoing success.
GIS continues to invest in R&D to deliver world-leading software, drive electronics and ink delivery system solutions and support to industrial inkjet printing communities worldwide.
