Travel to GIS:
By Road:
Global Inkjet Systems’ offices are located on the North side of Cambridge with easy access from the A14 and the M11. There is ample visitor parking in front of the Edinburgh House.
By Rail:
The nearest railway station to GIS is Cambridge North. It is approximately 1 mile, 1.6 kilometres from the railway station to GIS. You can complete your journey to GIS by taxi or on foot. A taxi journey will take around 2 minutes depending on traffic and 25 minutes to walk.
The more central Cambridge railway station has regular connections from London King’s Cross, Liverpool Street, Stansted Airport, Peterborough, King’s Lynn and Norwich. A taxi ride to and from GIS normally takes 10-15 minutes.

By Air:
London Stansted Airport is approximately 35 miles from the Global Inkjet Systems offices and the journey time by car or taxi would be around 45 minutes by car or taxi depending on traffic. It is also possible to travel from Stansted Airport to Cambridge Railway Station by train. Refer to section 2.2 above for details of completing your journey if you decide to travel from this airport by train.

Main (Front) entrance:
There is an intercom system located on the left wall as you approach the Edinburgh House building; please press ‘GIS‘ and we will open glass door to let you into the building. Turn right and walk to the brown door which leads to the lift. Take the lift from the ground floor to the first floor. Our offices are located to the right as you exit the lift. Make your way through the door you will find yourself in the GIS offices.
Back entrance:
There is an intercom system located on the left wall as you approach the Edinburgh House building from the back; please press ‘B103‘ and we will open glass door to let you into the building. Walk through the glass doors and head towards the other end of the building. Turn left when you reach the last brown door which leads to the lift. Take the lift from the ground floor to the first floor. Our offices are located to the right as you exit the lift. Make your way through the door you will find yourself in the GIS offices.
